You will still find various Security-related tutorials and videos, and security news that we felt was the cream of the crop ( at the time ), and access to a variety of other resources here…
however…
as we have archived this blog and are relocating our tutorials over the next year we direct you to TheTAZZone Network for a more comprehensive list of written tutorials; and TAZforum for the original postings; also for Security Videos we now direct you to TAZforum.com for a more complete listing of Security Videos; and for Photoshop Tutorials we now direct you to Free Use and PD Photos
It will be one year before all the tutorials ( and new ones as well ) will be relocated to their new destinations so you may want to bookmark this site until at least December 2010.
Over the course of the next couple years we will be slowly phasing out some of our blogs by uniting them with our main blogs …this will give you greater access to everything through fewer sites and greatly cut down our maintenance time.

With about three months to go, U.S. regulators say some consumers are still unprepared for the television industry switch to digital broadcasting, which will affect Americans who do not receive their signals through cable or satellite. The federally mandated transition was originally set for February 17, but lawmakers postponed it to June 12 on the theory that people need more time to get ready.
The switch from analog to digital allows broadcasters to send more data efficiently, and also frees up the existing analog spectrum for such uses as cellphone and public-safety radio transmissions.
About a third of the nation’s 1,800 full-power broadcasters switched from analog to digital TV signals on the original February 17 date, though only about 15 percent of the nation’s households were affected.

an attendee at WinHEC China snuck away with the VHD image (Virtual PC 2004 Virtual Hard Drive) file of Windows 7’s 6956 build and promptly uploaded it to a torrent site.
As expected world+dog are on the case, having a go at it. Unfortunately, the VHD isn’t a bootable disk, but some users have fiddled enough with the virtual disk image and the 6801 build install to create a fully installable ISO.
Torrent chat is reporting users have overcome the non-boot disk issue by using the installer for the 6801 build, and the jury-rigged ISOs are replacing the original VHD on torrent sites as we speak.
